Writing
Writing has been one of the primary ways I’ve explored and shared the ideas behind responsibility, rest, and intentional living.
My books grew out of pastoral work and lived experience, not theory. They are meant to be read slowly and applied honestly. They are not clickbait or quick fixes.
Make War is a call to reject passivity and take responsibility for your life.
Written out of years of work with men, it confronts the internal battle against sin, drift, and compromise, and calls men to fight for the kind of life that can ultimately be lived in peace.
The Vacation Principle explores a different kind of fight—the fight against burnout, exhaustion, and disordered living.
Rather than treating rest as a reward, it presents rest and rhythm as disciplines that must be built intentionally into everyday life.
The Vacation Principle Planner
The Vacation Principle Planner is a practical companion to the book.
Designed to be undated and flexible, it helps translate the ideas of rest, rhythm, and intentional living into everyday planning.
It is available in both paperback and hardback editions.
These books are part of a larger body of work focused on helping men live with purpose, responsibility, and courage.
All are available through Amazon.com and Amazon Global.
